Protracted B-cell aplasia was not required for durable responses. In conclusion, this 5-year follow-up analysis of ZUMA-1 demonstrates sustained overall and disease-specific survival, with no new safety signals in patients with refractory LBCL. Ongoing responses at 60 months were associated with early CAR T-cell expansion. Peripheral blood B cells were detectable in all evaluable patients at 3 years with polyclonal B-cell recovery in 91% of patients. No new serious adverse events or deaths related to axi-cel were observed after additional follow-up. Disease-specific survival (excluding deaths unrelated to disease progression) estimated at 5 years was 51.0%. Median overall survival (OS) was 25.8 months, and the estimated 5-year OS rate was 42.6%. The objective response rate in these 101 patients was 83% (58% complete response rate) with a median follow-up of 63.1 months, responses were ongoing in 31% of patients at data cutoff. Investigator-assessed response, survival, safety, and pharmacokinetics were assessed in patients who had received treatment. Eligible adults received lymphodepleting chemotherapy followed by axi-cel (2 × 10 6 cells per kg). Here, we assessed outcomes in ZUMA-1 after 5 years of follow-up. In phase 2 of ZUMA-1, a single-arm, multicenter, registrational trial, axicabtagene ciloleucel (axi-cel) autologous anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy demonstrated durable responses at 2 years in patients with refractory large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL).

It is the story of a woman’s urgent quest to unlock the story of her own identity, a story that has been scrupulously hidden from her for more than fifty years, years she had spent writing brilliantly, and compulsively, on themes of identity and family history. Inheritance is a book about secrets–secrets within families, kept out of shame or self-protectiveness secrets we keep from one another in the name of love. She woke up one morning and her entire history–the life she had lived–crumbled beneath her. In the spring of 2016, through a genealogy website to which she had whimsically submitted her DNA for analysis, Dani Shapiro received the stunning news that her father was not her biological father. One last note, the grave is a long way from Karen's house, and when she and the others went to bury Denys, they really had to want to go, because I am sure that when this was done there were hardly any roads to speak of in the hills. Today there is a good bit of development, particularly small shambas in the hills, but the site is maintained by a Kenya family, who do a wonderful job maintaining the grave. And the grave is truly in the Ngong Hills. When Denys was buried here by Karen after he died in the plane crash, there was nothing in the surrounding area. Sammy knew where it was, and he even seemed to have some problems. And if you don't know where it is, there is no way you could find this on your own. Here is the only marker directing visitors to the grave site. Perhaps because he was a philandering big game hunter, but he probably deserves a bit better. As I noted above, Finch Hatton has not gotten the treatment or recognition of Karen. " 'The Call' review: Teens in Ireland disappear into horror world - NY Daily News".
Book 2 is scheduled for a 2019 release with 3 and 4 a few years down the road. I might have waited if I had realized that I was setting myself up for another Sanderson waiting list, but this opener in a 4 book sequence wrapped up enough to make the wait bearable, while still leaving plenty to be explored in the followups. Sanderson does it again! Captivating new world, new magic system, new characters, new series. Not the fastest moving of Austin's books, but I grew to love each of the main characters as they searched their hearts and the world for God's will in the use of their talents and wealth. I seem to always want more when I finish a novella, so it was fun to see the previous main characters in the succeeding stories.
